I’m Seth Willingham — photographer and FAA Part 107 commercial drone pilot working under the name Waterproject.

I grew up splitting time between Hawaii and Laguna Beach. The ocean has always been the constant. What started with GoPros and free diving eventually led to drones, and a focus on capturing the places and experiences that define coastal living from a perspective that feels both elevated and intimate.

Today I specialize in aerial and lifestyle imagery for hotels, resorts, tourism boards, golf courses, and brands that want authentic Southern California and destination content. My work has been featured by InsideHook, 30A, and design publications, and I regularly collaborate with luxury hospitality properties across California, Hawaii, and beyond.

Whether it’s a single property shoot or an ongoing content partnership, the goal is always the same: create images that make people want to be there.
